In fact one a close relative of mine works for did that for over five years of employment until someone sued and won. This relative of mine would work up to 70-80 hours per week and not be compensated. After this, my relative asked for retroactive pay in writiing via email and her email was not even acknowledged by the employer. This person loves their job and was afraid to sue as I recommended because of the need to support their family. This company which doesn't even pay for benefits for their employees was voted TWO YEARS in a row "One of the best places to work in Los Angeles County". Furthermore, they violate RESPA laws and take bribes from notaries in order to obtain their signings. When notaries put legitimate legal customer reward programs together NOT in violation of RESPA, their officers ask for cash instead and when asked to obtain the managing officers approval beforehand, did so and this person gave their permission. The workers that were requesting cash sent me this email from this officer stating it was OK TO DO IF THEY WANTED TO. Bad business in escrow. Shady dealings going on all the time.

Re: Escrow Officers and Closers Unpaid Overtime Claims - Class Action - Class Action Lawsuit

SO many people are in the dark about overtime.
